Bobby Palmieri started this when he was just ten when his dad died out of the blue of a heart attack and left him and his little brother and his mom. Three days later and grieving, Palmieri started an organization called “Have a Heart.”
When Quinnipiac University student Bobby Palmieri’s father died of a heart attack more than a decade ago, his first response was to turn his grief into action, which now will help other students in his situation afford a college education.
Bobby Palmieri, a junior entrepreneurship major, knew he wanted to make a difference after losing his dad to a heart attack when he was 10 years old. Weeks after his father’s passing, Palmieri sold red bracelets that said “have a heart” around his hometown and raised more than $2,000 for the American Heart Association.
